This Advent, as we prepare our hearts and lives for the arrival of Christ, we are called to let go of fear and embrace the transforming gifts that God offers us: hope, peace, joy, and love. In a world where fear can hold us back, this series invites us to journey with those who first welcomed Jesus, and to hear the angel's message spoken into our own lives: "Do not be afraid." Each week, we’ll explore how this message was received and responded to, and how it challenges us to live boldly in anticipation of God’s promises.

The Book: The Christmas Letters by Magrey R deVega
In "The Christmas Letters," Magrey deVega invites readers to explore the miracle of Christ's birth through the New Testament Epistles, which reflect the early church's efforts to comprehend and celebrate the Incarnation. This Advent, by engaging with letters like Romans, 1 John, Philippians, and Colossians, you can deepen your understanding of Jesus as both fully human and fully divine, and experience the profound meaning of His coming.
