Reminder: One Service at 10 am with John Redmon leading music.
One of Colorado’s premier inspiration artists, John returns to perform his uplifting music at our June 29 service, offering original hymns, Gospel music, and much more. He has toured all over the United States and England with his inspirational messages found in both word, song, instrument, and voice. His charm, professionalism, passion for both humankind and his music along with his disarming, radiant smile and infectious laugh makes him an audience favorite.
Reception for Nancy Docksey and Donna Murray: following the June 29 service we will have a retirement reception for our chancel choir director and church accompanist. If you are unable to attend but would like to send a card you may leave it with Kathy Easterday or Julie Bailey.
Photo Directory Assistance

Outdoor Service Assistance: If you can help with set-up and take-down of materials used during our outdoor service this summer, please sign-up at the welcome center or let Pastor Matt know.
Latest Cookbook Up-date:
At its last meeting the Cookbook Team decided to go with just one size for our church cookbook — a large-print, spiral bound, 8 x 11 booklet. At a cost of $10, this cookbook they make great gifts for the cooks in your family. A new sign-up sheet at the welcome center reflects this change and those who pre-ordered any version of the cookbook remain on the list. This wonderful cook book includes many recipes for the dishes served at our church potlucks and auctions as well as the recipes archived in previous church cookbooks. Photos, prayers and many wonderful food quotes have been included. Copies will be available for pick-up in late August. Use the sign-up sheet to pre-order a cookbook . . . or two or three.
Be a Very Important Point Person: Have an idea from an event be a VIPP: What is a VIPP: The Very Important Point Person program provides a path for volunteers to organize social and educational events such as outdoor activities, museum trips, and concerts. Interested individuals can sign up at the Welcome Center to become a VIPP for one activity. For more info about this check with Pastor Matt

Friday Fellowship in July & August Start your summer weekend off with a visit to one of Castle Rock’s many great coffee shops. Join our Friday Fellowship any Friday morning, at 10:00am, July 11- August 29. This is not a ladies’ group or a men’s group, It’s not even a coffee-lover’s group, just a multi-generational group who want to sit for a bit to chat over a glass of iced tea or a cup of coffee. On July 11 we'll meet on the patio (weather permitting) at Wellspring & Co. Coffee Shop, 207 Perry Street, CR. As we meet each week, we’ll choose a different coffee shop for the following week. Come catch up on what's happening in our community, have time to really visit with folks you can’t catch on Sunday morning, and learn where folks have been vacationing. Wear your church tee-shirt if you like. VIPP for this activity is Julie Bailey (303-981-4027). Text her for updates.
Little Library Relocated: You may have noticed our Little Library is now sits on the north wall of the gathering space opposite the Welcome Center desk. Borrow, trade or take one anytime. There are a few new Mitch Albom books, a variety of lighter summer beach reads, and recent titles such as Tom Lake by Ann Patchett and The Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese.
