Worship at Castle Rock First UMC is the heartbeat of our community life. Each Sunday at 9:00 a.m., we gather as one church family to lift our voices, center our hearts in prayer, and encounter the living God through scripture, song, and sacrament.
Our worship blends the best of our traditions—hymns, modern praise, choirs, and instrumental music—woven together into a Spirit-filled service that is both rooted and fresh. Acolytes bring in the light of Christ to remind us of God’s presence. Together, we pray, sing, and reflect on God’s Word as it speaks into our lives today.
Every service includes space to offer our gifts to God and to one another, affirming that generosity flows from God’s abundance. On the first Sunday of each month, and on holy days, we celebrate Holy Communion. At Christ’s table, all are welcome—no matter your age, background, or journey of faith.
Worship doesn’t end when the service does. Following worship, we gather for Community Faith Time at 10:00 a.m., where children, youth, and adults connect, learn, and grow in faith together over coffee, donuts, and conversation.
At Castle Rock First UMC, worship is more than a service—it’s a shared encounter with the God who is creating, renewing, and sending us out to be love and light in the world.
We also have various special services throughout the year like Blue Christmas service, Good Friday, Maundy Thursday, and more.
We invite you to come and see and come as you are. There are no requirements to attend worship experiences. Just come as you are we will welcome you.
