“Ashes To Go” is an ecumenical gathering. A few local Churches will be on the corner of Wilcox and Fourth Street from 8:00-10:00 AM, 11:30 AM-1:00 PM, and 4:00-5:30 PM.
Join us as you can to start off your Holy Lent with prayer and the imposition of Ashes.
Ash Wednesday Service will be at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
Ash Wednesday emphasizes a dual encounter: we confront our own mortality and confess our sins before God within the community of faith. The form and content of the service focus on the dual themes of sin and death in the light of God's redeeming love in Jesus Christ.
