MSC Digital Devotions Returns for Lent

Come join with voices from across the Mountain Sky Conference for a Lenten Devotion. Each morning’s devotion will be led by a different clergy or laity person from the MSC, as we come together for a time of scripture, reflection and prayer, every weekday during the season of Lent.

Begin the season with Ash Wednesday in your local church or community, then join with members of the Mountain Sky Conference as we collectively add this new spiritual practice each weekday through Good Friday.

Digital Devotion begins at 6:30am, February 23-April 7 (Mondays-Fridays)

Zoom Meeting ID: 859 9454 0738

Passcode: 002216

Backpack Ministry: Mike Vitek reports that our Mission Team has approved our Backpack Ministry for 2023. On Sunday, March 26th, the Mission Team will provide an opportunity for our Church family to participate in our backpack ministry program. Our backpack ministry program responds to Christ’s concern for prisoners (Matthew 25: 36, 39, 43). Our Church is the only organization that provides backpacks to indigent men and women being released from the Douglas County Correctional Facility. Look for full details in theMarch newsletter.

“The wonderful thing about praying is that you leave a world of not being able to do something, and enter God’s realm where everything is possible. He specializes in the impossible. Nothing is too great for His almighty power. Nothing is too small for His love.” ~ Corrie Ten Boom

“Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.” Roman’s 8:26
