We’re entering a new season at Castle Rock First UMC! On Sunday, September 7, we’ll come together for one Spirit-filled worship service at 9:00 a.m., followed by a special Open House Sunday—a chance to celebrate, connect, and discover all the ways you can be part of our church family. Then, beginning Sunday, September 14, we’ll launch Community Faith Time, a weekly opportunity for good coffee, good conversation, and spaces for every generation to grow in faith together.
This week’s transition video features Pastor Matt talking about our Community Faith Time.
What is Community Faith Time?While some may think of Sunday School as formal classes, we see this as something more—an intentional space for connection and spiritual growth. Our faith grows best when we journey together, and our three unique settings create room for everyone:
Nursery (ages newborn–4): A caring space where our youngest members are loved and nurtured, giving parents and older siblings the opportunity to participate in other groups.
Living In Faith Together (LIFT Group, ages 5+): In the Fellowship Hall, all ages gather to learn, play, and share wisdom together, strengthening the bonds of our church family.
Soul Café (Adults): A relaxed, conversational space to reflect on the day’s sermon and dive deeper into what it means to live out our faith in daily life.
