Call To Worship

Leader: Our help is in the name of the Lord who made heaven and earth. All: We glorify our God with songs of thanksgiving and joy.

Leader: God has done great things for us, filling us with grace.

All: God fed our ancestors in the wilderness, God clothes us with hope.

Leader: We will offer our hearts to God, always saying, 'Thank you!' to the One who loves us.

All: We will sing our praises, shouting of God's presence in our lives.

A Corporate Reading of Colossians 1:15-20

Leader: The Son is the image of the invisible God, the one who is first over all creation,

All: Because all things were created by him: both in the heavens and on the earth, the things that are visible and the things that are invisible. Whether they are thrones or powers, or rulers or authorities, all things were created through him and for him.

Leader: He existed before all things, and all things are held together in him. He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the one who is firstborn from among the dead so that he might occupy the first place in everything.

All: Because all the fullness of God was pleased to live in him, and he reconciled all things to himself through him—whether things on earth or in the heavens. He brought peace through the blood of his cross.

The UMF Cookie Walk Returns! On Sunday morning, December 4th

Fellowship Hall will be filled with tables of festive and delicious cookies to purchase. To make this a successful event, UMF is also looking for donations. Donating a few dozen of your favorite cookies is a wonderful way to share your tasty recipe with others while filling your own box with various cookies for your holiday gatherings. Whether purchasing, donating, or doing both, United Women of Faith appreciate your participation.

Giving Tree Info

We will set it up in the corner by the office. On a table next to it are sign up sheets where people need to register the tag they have chosen. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!

We have 80 names for South Ridge students plus tags for grocery gift tags for those that don’t want to shop. We will also be getting tags up for Brookside nursing home in the near future.

All gifts need to be returned by Sunday, December 11th.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask Judy Wambach.
