This week's Quotes and Scripture
“Because he has set his love upon me, therefore, while I deliver him: I will set him on high because he has known my name. He shall call upon me and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and shew him salvation.” Psalm 91: 14-16 (KJV)
“Easter is the story of our wounded healer. Jesus knows pain is suffering firsthand. Easter belongs to the wounded and suffering. In his presence, they made the God who loved them so much he willingly endured agony to their eternity. He came to heal the wounds we suffer, and forgive the wounds we inflict on others. The glory and triumph is that Christ joins us in our misery to comfort and restore he is with us a fellow suffer, who reaches out to touch our lives, and heal us.”
