+Hymn TFWS 2236 Gather Us In

Call To Worship Rev. Sarah Steidtmann

One: Oh People of faith, come seek Jesus, the light of the world.

All: Shine in our hearts Lord Jesus!

One: We believe in the strength of God that illuminates dark places.

All: The light shines in darkness, but that darkness does not overcome it.

One: Lord, as we gather to worship, kindle in us the light of Your love.

All: We will let Your light shine through us, now and forever.

We Pray Together

Congregational Prayer Rev. Sarah Steidtmann

All: God of light and truth, You are beyond our grasp or conceiving. We take comfort in the fact that You always care for us and are mindful of our hurts and needs. Before the brightness of Your presence, the angels veil their faces with reverence and adoring love. By our words and our actions, may we acclaim Your glory and sing Your praise. Show us Your truth and love in this time of worship together.
